Description

Spituk to Stok trek is a lovely trek crossing the Zinchen Gorge.Tread the path followed by Tibetan Argali,Blue Sheep,Snow Leopard during winter or early spring/fall.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Leh - Spituk - Zingchen,  Duration 5 Hrs
Drive to Spituk (7 kms from Leh town). Head towards lofty Himalayas.Later arrive at Zingchen via Zingchen gorge(a completely isolated place). Overnight Zingchen.

Day 02: Zingchen- Rumbak,        Duration 4-5 Hrs
Head for Rumbak via a straight forward path. Cross Hemis National Park amd reach Rumbak as the valley widens. Overnight Rumbak.
 
Day 03: Rumbak- Stok -Leh    Duration 8 Hrs
Trek up the Stok-La Pass(4900m) of 3 hours. Get your camera ready to capture amazing views of the Indus Valley . Descend all the way down to the village of Stok. Visit Stok Palace Museum (Optional). Drive  backto Leh.
